Thanks for the feedback Thomas Presets are not replicated by design.

What you can try is this...start one of your Presets on one player, then use the Follow Me (arrow icon in the Player Drawer) to send the content to another Player. Please note Follow Me does not work on endpoint options like AirPlay or Spotify but works great for TuneIn, TIDAL or local content.

Once the content is moved, from the Now Playing Screen, use the context menu to save the source as a Preset on the destination player.

Shouldn't even be a request. Just do it. #bluos4.0

Would like to see this as well.
Can only agree with KriHad, such a simple option should not even be in question.

To be honest we've debated this for a while.  If you are the sole user of a system and have multiple devices then it makes total sense.  When multiple users on multiple devices and especially if there are differences in how you listen to your music then makes less so. Then which model becomes the primary so if you make changes then how to propagate...  We have it in the list to consider when we do some work with Presets in general.

Maybe it's an idea to copy presets to another speaker but not link them permanently. This way it's possible to set up a new speaker with your current presets but you can change them to your likings anytime you want.

that's the most likely outcome, choose a unit as the primary, tell all others to copy presets, do it once and not update.  That's part of what the team is looking at.
