MDC Bluesound 2 keeps dropping WiFi connection

I have a MDC BlueSound 2 module in my NAD 368 amp.
When playing, both through Spotify Connect and Tidal, the signal keeps dropping. It will constantly load the song, start it again, and then load again.
I have a Google Nest Wifi router placed 10 meters away from it in an apartment.
I don't experience drop-outs from any other of my devices, but am tempted to try with another router to see if that fixes the issue.
Does anyone have experience with MDC BlueSound 2 and Google Nest? Is there anything I can do, without changing the router, to fix this connectivity issue?
