Plex integration and Album art display on a Node
AnsweredI have got all my music files on a NAS with a Plex server. I can access my music everywhere with different Plex apps. Sonos has integrated plex support, and it is the main reason for keeping both Sonos and Bluesound at the moment.
Plex integration with Bluesound would be fantastic.
I would also like to have a display on a Node like on the NAD M10v2 (I have got one in my living room), C700 and the new Eversolo DMP-A6. The current Node, despite being given incremental updates, is still a very old design.
Thx

Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded your feedback to our quality assurance and development team for future update consideration.
Alternatively, you can add your Plex Music library as a network share in BluOS app - https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000186887

I'm going to add my vote to this. Not only are the likes of Eversolo and FiiO beating you on price, they are hammering you on Streaming service integration. You should at least be looking to expand this selection as it seems your hands are tied when it comes to the likes of Apple Music where you simply have nowhere to go. AirPlay 2 is simply inferior and you are never going to gain access to any usable API.
Plex would be a fantastic one with control via the Plexamp app. Your suggestion is worthless when the Plex library is hosted at a cloud location.
Then there is SoundCloud which has great depth to its selections.

In fact I am currently considering getting rid of my Blusound stuff just because it is so bad with a NAS music library. Browsing is painfully bad compared to something like Plex. And the lack of intelligent playlists! Even iTunes does much better...

The point seems to be the ignorance of all wishes to implement dlna/upnp support for bluos since years. Most Streaming devices have this and out of the box using the nas server software ist possible from different mediaservers in the network

Plexamp is awesome! I'm on a Roon trial now because browsing and enjoying my music library is such a pain with BluOs. BluOs is archaic and to see competitors actually listening to their customers and rolling out new features (and fixing BUGS!) faster makes me feel like I bet on the wrong company. I'm still looking for alternatives :)

I agree. Nothing is happening with Blueos; don't think I may be living the Bluesound hifi life for much longer. I plan to replace the M10v2 with an Eversolo and active speakers. It (as well as Wiim) has Plex now, but still only in beta.
The N130 may be l staying for a while still, but it is only for office use now.
