Please take a look at this KB on how to perform a factory reset. There's also a video on it for your reference.

If you are still having issues and not able to make it work. Please send us a support ticket at support@bluesound.com and a member of our support team would be happy to assist you.

Hope this helps and Thanks for #LivingHiFi

I managed to get it to go red then green then red then held play/pause for well over two minutes but it never flashed.

Timing is quite tricky so try leaving it fractionally longer before hold your finger down, but once it goes red / green alternating it should change to blinking red. Solid red means it’s in upgrade mode (USB memory stick with firmware) but you can remove the power.

Wanted to say that you may possibly be having a networking issue, if you can temporarily wire an Ethernet lead to see if you still have issues.

Hi thanks for coming back to me, I tried more times, getting the timing better to always get it to go green then red, it then goes solid red and no matter how long I hold it will not come out of that.

So I have given up, my finger was starting to ache.
