"Node" vs "Node X" Analog IN to Digital OUT
AnsweredIf I am running an analog signal source from a phono preamp (off my turntable) into the analog 3.5mm input and then outputting via the digital Coaxial is the original analog signal getting converted to digital via the ADC and then through the Node DAC and out as digital over the Coaxial?
So would the new "X" Node with the newer DAC potentially have better sound quality than the "regular" Node in such a scenario?
Is there any difference with the ADC on the "X" over the regular Node?

No
You will not be taking advantage of the newer upscale DAC or newer headphone Amp. You will have the same results as the NODE N130.
