Thanks for #LivingHiFi -
Fellow customer here, I used to own a T758 v3i and had no issues with it. Does the BluOS app see the unit when you select it from the player view on the iPhone?
If so then check in settings under Audio and make sure the volume limit isn't set to something too low.

Thanks for the quick reply! The T758 does show up in my BluOS app and I am able to select it and play music from Tidal on it in the app. The volume limits are set to -80db to 0db but still no sound at the speakers. All other inputs on the T758 are working correctly and give good audio. I’ve even setup and loaded Dirac filters using the WiFi dongle that BluOS utilizes. Dirac had no trouble sending sound to the speakers during setup, but BluOS, Roon, and Tidal via Airplay do not produce any sound even though they otherwise appear to be working. Sounds like this may be an unusual issue.

Just ensuring the settings are OK for your system. Looking at the Manual for the 758 it states:
DIGITAL AUDIO
To take advantage of the T 758’s high performance surround and digital audio circuitry, it is advisable that its Digital Audio inputs are selected. There are various types of Digital Audio input for the T 758. These are HDMI, BluOS, Optical and Coaxial digital inputs. Another option is “Off” whereby no incoming digital audio signal is selected by the particular Source.
and:
CEC/LAN/BluOS IN STANDBY
Indicates the status of CEC, LAN and BluOS activity while the unit is in standby mode.
On
-
Enable CEC feature. Audio and video will continuously stream from a CEC-enabled HDMI source to a CEC-enabled TV (with both devices connected via T 758).
-
LAN and BluOS connections continue to be active.
Off
-
T 758 will not pass through any CEC message. Audio and video will not be streamed from a CEC-enabled HDMI source to a CEC- enabled TV (with both devices connected via T 758).
-
LAN and BluOS connections are idle or inactive.
and further:
• BluOS audio is also not applicable as a Zone 2 audio source.
Failing any of these I suggest you send Bluesound a support request by clicking the blue button at the lower right of this screen.

Was this resolved? I'm having the exact same issue, as described.

Yes, I was able to resolve the issue although I don’t remember now exactly what fixed it. It was some combination of factory rest (hold down menu and source keys), hard reset (unplugged for five minutes), let the unit start up without the BluOs adapter plugged into the USB port and plug it in once it’s up and running, use wired Ethernet instead of WiFi dongle, and lastly ensure LAN/CEC in standby mode is turned off in settings. The WiFi dongle and LAN/CEC in standby are two known issues that cause all sorts of problems with this unit, there are many threads about them on various message boards. It’s really disappointing and frustrating that NAD/BluOS still haven’t fixed them via firmware update given the prevalence of the issues. Connecting to Ethernet is not a major challenge, but having to power on and wait several minutes for the system to establish a connection before I can play any music through BluOS or Roon is really annoying.
