Sorting issue - AGAIN

I've seen this BluOS sorting issue all over the internet for several years.  We really need to ability to resort both the play que as well as a playlist.  I add new songs to a folder, re-index my library and then I am forced to hunt and peck in order to find those new songs to add to my current playlist and finally to the play que.  This is extremely tedious and time consuming.  I also do not understand why the system can not recognize duplicates.  If I could resort, at least then I would be able to see a duplicate and remove one of the two.  I an unable to understand why it is such a huge issue to add sorting to the software.  Please advise.

  I concur with the above post I find it hard to understand why bluos is so highly regarded as I just predominantly want to use it as a media player for music I own and not rent and listen to various radio streams it is very clunky in trying to keep hard drive files in the library clean and upto date

  Hi Michael, Bluesound just plays back your existing library so you may want to look at some form of software to manage your own local library. I use one called Bliss that Bluesound recommends. It was originally intended for sorting out artwork but it’s grown to be much more powerful than just that. Alternatively Roon which does have a monetary and hardware cost might suit you better.
