Shuffle functionality
AnsweredI've read the post re: Shuffling Playlists (https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000216728-How-do-I-Shuffle-My-Playlists), however this does not work as described for me and hasn't since I started using BluOS and a Node 2i nearly 18 months ago.
I'm using Tidal and Qobuz through the BluOS controller app on either MacOS or iOS (mainly iOS). If I start one of my playlists from either Tidal or Qobuz, the blue shuffle arrows are already highlighted, yet the playlist plays in the 'correct' order i.e., the order in which it appears (that I created) on either streaming service. If I tap the shuffle arrows off (to grey) and then back on (to blue) then a whole bunch of other, seemingly random, tracks NOT from my selected playlist are then added to the playlist queue. This seems bizarre to me. Is it a known issue/bug?
If I leave the BluOS app and use Tidal connect via the Tidal app itself then playlist shuffle behaviour works as you would expected. Only songs from the selected playlist are played, but in a jumbled order.

Hi Warren
Sounds like you are loading tracks or adding Playlists into an existing Play Queue - try the same thing - but first before doing so, clear the existing Play Queue; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035621354

Bizarre indeed. Shuffle in BluOS is excatly that. I still have hopes for an improvement in the future. :)
Wouldn't mind the option to set a proper shuffle function in the presets too.
Best, KriHad

Thanks, Warren and Tony; I had the exact same (very annoying) issue (while using BluOS with Deezer playlists). Clearing the existing play queue seems to have solved it.
