MK1 Powernode - no audio output

Ive updated my MK1 powernode to the latest firmware but im getting no audio output..
have tried factory reset, run through the manual USB update steps but to no avail.
Blueos controller App on both mac and ios say tidal and tune in is playing, can switch stations, can turn up and down volume, change settings etc.
Connectivity is good according to trouble shooting section in app and have rebooted the unit from there>>>
any other ideas? able to roll back firmware?
