Interesting idea but may be difficult to do.  The BluOS app is not a media player but just a remote controller.  So this has to be implemented on the Node itself.

Andrew, can you elaborate a bit more on the sound quality between the Transporter and the Node?  Just curious.  I remember that the Transporter was highly regarded in its time.

Ken. Sound quality. I really loved my Transporter but sadly numerous faults occurred. I would say sound quality on Node 2i is equal to Transporter. I always used the DAC inside Transporter. I’m now using the Node 2i DAC and to my ears Node 2i sounds just as good. I have been very impressed by Node 2i so far, even though it’s missing some of the features on Transporter. I guess that was advantage of LMS server software running on PC. I notice there is a restriction on number of tracks on hard drive, but I’m a long way from hitting that limit.

    +1

Being able to find old tracks that haven't been played in a long time would be brilliant,
