True but as of today's iOS release it is open to other services like Spotify, not just AppleMusic, and if I understand correctly not just via AirPlay. It will play Spotify from the Spotify app and likely Tidal from the Tidal app. With Tidal connect and Bluesound selected as a sound output this opens it up to more than Airplay.

  • In the above KB...  'Hey, Siri, Play July Talk in The Office On Spotify'... worked fine for me here

Interesting, no joy for me here via Bluesound and Tidal using the same commands. So Spotify plays without Airplay for you?

My NODE 2i in the office is set up in the Apple Home App as the above KB Suggested.

As per Apple, it depends on the App. The TIDAL App is not supported by Siri - here is what you can (and cannot) do with Siri; https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202809
