Radio Paradise - Streaming Issues (Lag) – The Bluesound Support Crew

Dear all,

i noticed since some time (a few months) that the lossless Radio Paradise Stream via Bluesound is lagging after some time (all channels). I checked my internet connection (100/10 down/up) as well as the wifi connection to my node and flex units but this seems to be not an local connection issue. I checked the AAC 320 stream URL (.uk) via TuneIn and this works flawlessly.

Anybody else who experience the same? I'm based in Germany and wonder if the Bluesound RP link is pointing to the UK or if there is just one FLAC stream url for global?

Thanks Tony. After switching to RP MQA and doing some improvements to the Wifi connection of my node it got improved (even if i still have buffer underruns in the evening ...around 9pm).

Output underruns associated with the time of day are due to peak usage - either 'The kids are watching Netflix or Disney+' in which case you can speak to your ISP about throughput into your home - or general neighbourhood peak usage, in which case you should notify your ISP so they can investigate at their end.
