    1. Analogue and both digital outputs are active all at the same time, only time you may have issues on the digital outputs is if the DAC does not support the bitrate / MQA that the Node is streaming.

    2. There is no setting to enable the outputs.

Do double check you have actually used the digital out on the Node going to an input on the DAC, it gets dark there round the back of equipment.

In cases like this play some music and submit a support ticket using the Bluesound App... Help... Send Support Request

EDIT OF course the most obvious and simple issue is the digital cable is broken. For testing just use any other RCA to RCA lead you have, even just one side of a stereo cable. which you have already for the analogue output.

It was a cable issue. Not a faulty one, but rather a bad connection. Thanks, it's all working as expected now.

I have a new Bluesound Node that I've purchased in October 2022, and trying to connect it's digital co-axial output to my Yamaha CX-A5100 Pre-Pro. I have tried multiple co-axial cables but no luck. Digital co-axial output does not work, period. L+R RCA analogue outputs work fine but the DAC in Yamaha Pre-Pro sounds better if I play the same source, i.e.  Spotify. Planning to return this unit reluctantly, otherwise I enjoy it quite well. Any suggestions to make it work please?

In the Audio Settings of the DAC, please try disabling Audio Clock Trim. If Clock Trim is already disabled, please enable it. This will adjust DAC timing to the SABRE DAC in your AV Receiver.

If problems persist, please select Help, Send Support Request so our Support Crew may review the event log and take a closer look.

I do not have a trim adjustment on the Yamaha CX-A5100 Pre-Pro. Other digital co-axial sources work fine without any issues.

My Apologies, I just read back my message - The Audio Settings of the NODE is what I meant to say.

I tried that, no change What about MQA External DAC setting on Bluos; on or off? Would it make a difference?

Yes it would. Only enable the MQA toggle of your third party receiver is MQA certified after reviewing their documentation.

If it is not you will still be able to listen to MQA content by disabling MQA DAC and your NODE will unfold and render MQA content at two unfolds playing up to 24/96 depending on the source content.
