    Hello All

In the next 24-48 hours, look for an update to BluOS 3.14.5 for your player. This hotfix will resolve a problem with playing lossy AAC content with an Amazon Prime account when Players are grouped.

We do apologise for the inconvenience but happy to get this resolved quickly.

    Thanks for #LivingHiFi

    Hi Markus

No changes were made to Amazon in the latest release. Please reboot your router, wait 5 minutes then reboot all your players. If problems persist after that, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we may review your log files.

The release notes for BluOS 3.14.2 that you find under the following link say "Updates to TIDAL, Qobuz, *Amazon Music* and Deezer":

I had already rebooted all Bluesound devices as well as my switch and router before I asked here. And I had raised a support ticket. Unfortunately, your colleague only recommended to reboot all network devices and to rebuild my Music Library. But it didn't help since this problem deals with the Amazon Music streaming service. I can only hear it on one Bluesound device at a time. It becomes mute when I group two or more devices, and it says: Error: 0/: no such file or directory 0/.

The same thing has happened to me - rebooting hasn't assisted. I can stream Amazon alone, or mix it with my playlists with no problem. Once I group any combination of players it stops with the message you mention Markus.

Support request filed. I'll update if something new occurs.

    Just received from Bluesound support:

    "...
We have been able to reproduce this issue here in our labs and have been receiving similar reports from our users.
It seems to only occur when Bluesound players are grouped - as a workaround, don't group the Bluesound players when wishing to play Amazon Music.Β Our Quality Assurance team is currently looking into this further to provide a fix...."

Thank you for sharing this answer from the Bluesound support. At least now I know that the fault is not with my equipment. Meanwhile, I use Airplay to stream Amazon music throughout the house.

    Hello All

Thank you for your patience - we are investigating an issue where AmazonPrime users (AAC or MP3 playback) are not starting or stopping frequently when grouped. We have replicated the issue here in our BluOS Lab and hope to issue a hotfix very shortly.

Please continue to monitor this thread for updates.

AmazonHD or AmazonUHD (FLAC Lossless playback) is not affected.

We do apologies for the inconvenience.

I can add some additional color to this as well. I've also noticed that it occurs on Amazon Prime Video with SOME movies/TV shows but not every single one. It also shows up in the same way on Apple Movies (via Apple TV) with lots of crackling sounds.Β

This to me appears like it's related to some audio codecs, but not all. I'm unsure which codecs are utilized but Carlitos Way on Amazon Prime is an example of a movie that shows the behavior on the latest version.

Thanks Matthew - it's AAC related...

    Hi Guiseppe

This issue is unrelated to your current experience. Please select Music Services, Manage form the Music Tab. Log out of Amazon Music. Select Settings, Dignaostics, Reboot to restart your Players. Once restarted, log back in to Amazon Muisc.

If problems persist, please Select Settings, Send Support Request so we may view the log file of the Players...
