There is wrong/erratic/missing information in the flac metadata of your downloaded file(s).
"Ffmpeg" or "flac" command line tools can re-encode files without changing samplerate.

Thanks for the response. Is there some way to 'fix' the HR file so it shows the correct timing?

If you have tried downloading the file(s) and end up with the same erratic behavior, try "Ffmpeg" or "flac" command line tools that can re-encode files without changing samplerate.
Maybe "foobar2000" can do the same by converting "flac to flac".
Another option is to convert the files to ".wav" and then back to ".flac".

@Bjørn: I've experienced Ross' issue above with full WAV downloads from Bandcamp. FLAC downloads are fine. I typically like WAV, purist that I am. Any tips on how I can fix this without changing 24 bit rate? Many thanks.

I'm, afraid you have to re-encode the files, or convert to FLAC. The files would still be 24-bit. Since FLAC is lossless, there will be no audible difference.

Thx. I tested in Windows Media Player, and the time info is there and correct. It appears to be an issue with BlueOS not liking the info in the WAV format. Consequently I’ve downloaded in FLAC.
