Connecting Node 2i Digital Ouptuts to Two Different Processors

Is it OK to run a digital coaxial cable from the Node 2i to my Parasound P6 stereo preamp and also connect the Node 2i to my Yamaha AVR via the Optical output?  (Of course, I would not be streaming digital content to both systems at the same time.)

  Yup, would be just fine. 

  All the outputs on the back of the NODE are live so you could run them at the same time if you wanted to.
