Connect Vault 2i to Lumin U1 Mini

Hi all,

I bought the Vault 2i for the main use as Ripper und Media Server as here in Europe it is clearly advertised with NAS capabilities.

My main Streamer is a Lumin U1 Mini, which however does not recognize the Vault 2i in the network.

Is there any way to connect the two devices without the need of having always to have a PC up and running ?

I also have a Raspberry Pi which runs my Homebridge Plugins.
I understand that the Raspberry could potentially interact as intermediary, but did not find conclusive information on how to accomplish this.

  Your Lumin needs UPnP enabled at the "source". Your Vault don't have that option.

  Thanks, however UPnP is enabled in the Lumin settings.

  I have a WD NAS in parallel (to be replaced with the Vault) which is showing up without issues in Lumin.

  Hi Joerg

  Bluesound Players do not support UPnP. They only support Windows File Sharing through SMB.

  Thanks Tony, clear, I will hence return the device, I should have been more careful reading what the real capabilities are re Media Server and NAS
