Amazon HD Artist stations

I know most things are explained as API limitations but I didn't see this one explicitly so thought I'd ask... In the normal Amazon music app you can play a station based on an artist or album which I use most. If I go into the bluOS app I can see an artist station in my recent stations list, but I can't figure out a way to start a station based on an album or artist any other way. Is this just another API limitation?

  Two ways

  1) Open Amazon and you should see Prime Stations - Recently Played is one of the many options there
  2) Search an Artist and you should see Status in your search results - select one

  I'm guessing "Status" is supposed to be "Stations"? :)

  But I don't see any station results when I search. It seems like that's true of the amazon music app as well for some artists. Even if I search more popular artists, they sometimes don't have an explicit station in the Station results. However I can work around this in their app by clicking on the artist and selecting "Start Station" specifically.
