Network connection problem with bluesound node 2i
AnsweredI have unboxed this thing and connected it up as described. I went on to my network and saw its name on there and tried to connect. It asked for a password, I put a password in, and now my internet is circling and circling and circling like it's trying to connect but it won't connect. I have tried everything. I've unplugged my unit, I've unplugged the router, and I've left them unplugged for 12 hours and still nothing changes. I have called my network provider and there's nothing they can do. I have tried everything in the book there's nothing I can do. I can't get on to the blue OS app, to do anything else. on my application to do anything else. my internet provider tells me to bring it in some place and have them take a look at it, but I'm not going to do that, I'm not going to pay that price. Do I need to send this thing back and get another one. By the way the blue light stays on without flashing, it's saying I'm connected, but I'm not connected. What must I do?

Hello Michael,
When you connect the NODE to your router using an Ethernet cable (one is included in the packaging of the NODE; you'll want to disconnect it from power before plugging in the Ethernet cable), can you then see the player in the app?
There may be something in your router's settings blocking required network traffic for the NODE (multicast or mDNS, for example). Please reach out to our support crew at support@bluesound.com with the make/model of your router so they may look into this further.
Regards,
Sam R.
