c368 with BluOS vs Node 2

Hello,

I have a NAD c368 with BluOS which I currently use as a preamp to my poweramplifier.

I had the chance to test out the Node 2i. To my surprise, the sound produced by this Node 2i connected to the poweramplifier is much much better than when the c368 is used as preamp. It's not a little difference: there is significantly more depth and power. 

How is this possible?

  We have heard this too Kris. Our only explanation is the NODE 2i is a slightly newer revision and the revised board layout may have helped here.

  Thank you. The difference in quality made me decide to change the C368 with another amp and stream with the a Node.
