No resolution will show but the MQA Icon, or any icon at the very least, should appear.

Are you able to get a CD Icon when streaming non-MQA songs from TIDAL? I'd be curious to see a screenshot of what the app is showing you.

Hi Sam, thanks for your reply.

This morning (oddly enough) it seems to work. Either I had a setting wrong or it took some time for the change to take effect. The light is Green, Shouldn't it be Blue? I may have another setting incorrect.

Interesting. It may have been the window resolution too perhaps?

In any case, a green light is very normal. To quote MQA themselves

    • The MQA ‘Studio’ (blue light) gives confirmation directly from mastering engineers, producers or artists to their listeners. MQA Studio authenticates that the sound you are hearing is exactly as played in the studio when the music was completed and, by implication, that this is also the definitive version of the recording at that point in time.
    • A second level, ‘MQA’ (green light) is available to indicate that although the stream is genuine, provenance may be uncertain or that it is not yet the final release.

Well, Old Carly must not be quality as "Blue" but Bowie does. :)
