BluOS App confusion
UPDATE...4 March, 2021: Boy, I feel stupid. My Node was connecting to one wifi network while my phone was on the other. Both are on the same one now, and the Node is connected via Ethernet cable. Everything seems fine. I love the sound quality by the way. I had been using an Audioquest Dragonfly Red into my Macbook. I think the Node provides a bit more detail. Happy listening! ~ Jerry
Brand new here guys...so bear with me. I just bought the Node 2i and was planning on running it wired (Ethernet cable). The Node is running into my integrated amp via RCA cables. I'm only able to set-up the Node 2i via the app (iPhone) when it's in wireless mode. When I plug in my Ethernet cable, the app won't recognize the player, and I'm not able to add the player via the app. I'm sure the solution is easy...what am I missing here? Thanks, Jerry

I suspect it's a network issue. When you connect via wifi from the iPhone both devices are on the same network. It's possible your modem assigns your ethernet to another network though this is rare.
I suggest logging a support request with Bluesound from the iPhone app.
Choose Help > Send Support Request and follow the prompts.
