Hardwire Blusound Powernode 2

I'm having no success in wiring my Powernode 2 directly to my router for a wired connection using an ethernet cable. The device is not recognizable once the cable is attached. Bluesound says that the device will automatically be recognized when wired and the WiFi connection will be disabled. Anybody have a solution?

  Either your phone or tablet is not on the same network as your network router is blocking Multicast Traffic.
