1 Node 2.1 to two receivers?
AnsweredThis may be a dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer. I have a Node 2.1 running signal into my Pioneer SX-1250 system in one room, and in the next room, I have another system (with a Pioneer SX-750 Receiver) that I'd also like to feed with signal from my Node 2.1. I can get audio cables from room to room, but the Node 2.1 only has one audio out connection. So, is there a way to connect without having to unplug/plug rca's into the back of the Node every time I switch systems? I considered an rca switch, but don't want to create any interference or loss of signal quality issues. Thanks in advance for any help.

One way to do what you want is to use an external DAC between the Node and one of your Pioneer systems. The Node always outputs through the analog RCA and it's coax and optical digital outputs simultaneously. You might even discover you like the sound better with an external DAC.
That said, a good RCA source switcher won't have the signal degradation problems you mention.

Thank you Rodger, I'm going to start with the switch and see how that works, appreciate the answer!
