The majority of MQA compliant DACs make use of the USB port.

This is an inaccurate statement as MQA certified DACs must be able to render MQA through all of their sources in order to be MQA Certified. Check out www.mqa.co.uk for details. A DAC which only has a USB input port is designed to be connected to a PC directly.

That being said we are very happy with the current DAC bypass through TOSLink and COAX.

Toppings D90 is MQA certified: https://www.mqa.co.uk/partners/topping

it does not support MQA input from anything other than USB. This DAC has more than USB inputs as FYI.

So, not entirely sure what you are talking about Tony. Seems like maybe your statement is the one that is not accurate.

    Dearest Tony,

it seems there are DACS that are MQA certified and they are NOT able to render MQA through all of their sources. Please see: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/1500000382662/comments/360015341153 .

    May you answer the questions:

    1) Would node 2i be able to support MQA over USB

    2) is there any plan for this feature
