HOW TO SET A PRESET PLAYLIST ON THE RC1 TO SHUFFLE TRACKS

I have created some preset sounds linked to a playlist on my BlueSound RC1 remote control. However the tracks play in the order of the playlist. I want the tracks shuffled. So currently I have to open the BluOS app and set to shuffle. Can set to shuffle be automated so that I just use the RC1 rather than select play list with the RC! and then shuffle on a phone app?

  Hi Richard,

  Not every button is mapped on the RC1. You can use the IR Remote learning feature to map the unused buttons to many actions, including shuffle and repeat. I mapped the "up" button (the top of the silver ring on the RC1) to be a shuffle button.

  Go to Player > IR remote > IR Learning > Shuffle

  Then press the "up" button on the remote to record the IR code. Now hitting that button while listening to a playlist will be the same as clicking shuffle on the app. It doesn't always work because things aren't always in a state where shuffle works.
