Intermittent pauses
AnsweredMy Node2i is about a week old. It is linked to the internet (high speed fibre optic) using Cat 8 ethernet cable running through a network switch from the internet Access Point. I did not set up any wifi link because of concerns over dropped signals and interferences. From day one, when I used an optical cable connection, the first few bars of a song will have intermittent split second pauses and this will resolve itself after a few minutes of playing. It is as if the set requires warm-up before it plays smoothly. The problem occurs whether I am streaming from local radio or Spotify.
To isolate the problem, I changed the ethernet cable, the network switch and upgraded to a Supra toshlink cable but the intermittent pauses remained. However, when I switched to RCA interconnects, there were no pauses. Interestingly, when I brought the set to my local dealer, he plugged in a Supra toshlink cable to test. There were no intermittent pauses and I was sent home in embarrassment.
Any advice what could be the problem?

Hello Geoffery,
I'd suggest turning OFF the Settings > Player > Audio > Audio Clock Trim in the BluOS app to see if that resolves the issue.
