I think that the problem could be that it has the same album title and for that reason the system think that the album is already added. Have you tried to name the individual CD's as Lotus 1 Lotus 2 Lotus 3?

I don't know if you ripped the album(s) yourself. But when I rip a three cd set I can either make them as three different cd's or add all three CD's as one album/folder. In the first case let's say it is a compilation boxset that hold 25 tracks on each cd. I name the Cd's as individual and scan the album cover and then add cd 1 cd 2 cd 3, to the album covers in photoshop. In the second case it might be a 3 cd album but just holds 5-8 tracks per cd I re number the tracks on cd 2 and 3. So that it will be just one album with tracks numbers from 1 - 25. So to clearify what I mean, Pink Floyds The Wall is a two cd set the first cd holds 13 tracks and the second cd holds 13 tracks. I renumbered the second cd to 14 - 26. put all tracks in same folder and woila, it is now a one folder album that plays the tracks in correct order.

Santanas Lotus album, (and I belive you have the Japanese 3 cd edition) is a live album, so that would fit very well to be on just one folder as one (long) concert, or maybe divided to two different folders as part one and two. Hope this can help you

If the failure is related to the multiple discs, use MP3Tag to specify disc numbers.  With multi-disc albums I now have all tracks in the same album directory, with just one piece of album art and my normal track number-track name filename for all.   But using the disc number tag they all load as one album and display consecutively in the correct order (eg disc1 tracks 1-10, then 1-6 after that).

It would be even better if BluOS recognised it and separated them showing Disc1,2,3 etc, but it doesn't.

This may be down to personal preference, some may prefer it to be as Conny has suggested, and have the discs separated into their own directories.  That particularly works better for things like 'bonus disc' albums where the two are quite different.

But for 'normal' multi-disk albums I prefer not to see three of the same thing in the artist>album view, and tagging with disc number packages them all into one directory on the NAS and shows up as only one album in BluOS.

Funnily, when I tried to upload again this morning it worked with both the remaining folders. I would actually prefer to have all the songs in one folder, as it was suggested by Stelvio. Thanks a lot to both of you for the reply.

However, another major problem is that BluOS does not recognize many FLAC albums. I compared a Coltrane with a Jimmy Smith album, both of them FLAC, but the Smith is accepted, the Coltrane not.

However, I found out why it didn´t work! If the album tile has a square parenthesis, this is not accepted for upload. I tried this for several albums and upon removing the square parenthesis everything worked.

I think it´s an important point for the developers and the support crew,
