Can I connect the power cable of my Bluesound node 2i into the switched outlet on my integrated amp without any issues or does the unit need to be powered on constantly? I know that it may not receive an update while it is off but I only use it with my main stereo system, so I don’t listen to it every day.

  Hi Rick

  As an IoT Appliance, you really want your NODE to be Always on - I would plug it into the wall. It will enter power save after idle for 15 minutes.
