    Hi Supalite

Please check with your sub-woofer manufacturer to assure impedance or gain is set properly to wake the sub-woofer up from stand by.

Tony, it’s not my subwoofer fault, it works perfectly with my Denon x2200w amplifier, you have changed subwoofer output - same thing was with powernode, you did update why don’t you make same for Node2i, your reply will force me to return your unit to seller due software issues, subwoofer output is useless

    Hi Supalite

No changes have been made to the subwoofer output of the NODE. Changes were made to the POWERNODE 2i w HDMI in BluOS 3.10.0 but reverted by popular demand in 3.10.3. Since the NODE does not support DOLBY Decode the changes in 3.10.0 were not affected.

If however, you suspect something is afoot, our Support Crew will be happy to take a closer look at your player by reviewing the event log when you select Help, Send Support Request in the App.

All that being said, please adjust the gain on your sub-woofer. I cannot speak for other brands but Bluesound products do require a slight boost in the SUB gain as we trend towards a more neutral eq in our sound.

Hi Supalite - we are not ignoring you but do thank you for your patience - in spite of our best efforts to expand and ramp up over the past 10 months - we continue to be backlogged as various worldwide strategies to 'Shelter in Place' or 'Stay Home' to slow or stop the spread of COVID19 has resulted in a large strain on our Home Audio support as everyone is using their Stereo and Home Theatre Equipment as their primary source of entertainment. We do apologise and will get to you as quickly as possible...

Ive sent request a week ago, you’ve got lots of issues with your equipment in Home Cinema when I need to wait more.

    Tony,

Supalite's criticism is accurate. I opened a support ticket on Jan 5 and did not get a reply until Jan 21.
The pandemic has been with us for a year now. There has been plenty of time to modify your processes, hire additional staff, and solve the problems.

Frankly, continuing to use the pandemic as an excuse for poor service at this point is just being lazy. If you don't have the resources you need then talk to your management. There's literally no excuse for a company with the resources of NAD/Bluesound to provide support this slowly.

Have the same problem with powernode 2i hdmi, volume up to max on the sub, but hardly sounds at all. On other devices I only need the volume at 50%.

I too have brand new subwoofer issues.  It worked fine for a couple of years and then suddenly the output is minimal.  It's a Velodyne, an excellent subwoofer, and it works fine when not using the 2i.  Thus, something is askew with the signal.
