Bluesound Pulse does not install update - Update Error

Hello from Brussels,

(Re-)installing my Pulse P300 in a new wifi network leads only to a partial install. The installing procedure seems to run fine till it gets stuck in the final step "searching for new updates for your device" and Pulse keeps uninstalled. I tried with wifi, with ethernetcable and tried to bypass online update with an usb stick, nothing seems to work to escape this loop. 

Any ideas?
