Spotify Family & BlueSound
AnsweredHi There - My wife and I have spotify family accounts. For some reason, the bluesound devices are only connecting to my spotify account. Why does this happen? She can't see the bluesound players on her spotify app. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is that the most elegant way to have two family account spotify users play through bluesound? They need to log a user out, enter their information / passwords and then they can plan music? Doesn't seem very user friendly...
Thanks,
T.J.

Hello TJ,
You would just use Spotify Connect from the account you want to cast from. Different phones can all cast to your Bluesound player as long as they are connected to the same network. I've never needed to 'log out'; the BluOS app does not store any Spotify credentials since Spotify has made the decision not to directly integrate, the article is specifying that it would just resume the last playback if you click the Spotify icon in the BluOS app.

This is why Sonos has the upper hand. One Spotify account can play in multiple zones. As an installer, having to explain to a client that they cant do this is the biggest drawback and remains why Sonos will continue to dominate and have a larger share in this market!

Hi Seun
Please see https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000245288 as you can group Spotify fine when using the BluOS App
