Interconnects to Amp from Node2i or from External DAC?
AnsweredI have the Node2i connected to the external DAC via a toslink cable. Do I run the RCA interconnects from the Node2i to the integrated amp OR run the RCA interconnects from the external DAC to the integrated amp? What's the difference?

That's up to your ears to decide.
When using the Digital out of the NODE via Optical or COAX, you bypass the onboard 24/192 DAC of the NODE and using an external DAC. If you use the analog out to your amplifier you are using our onboard DAC.
Try both for a few sessions and go with which you think sounds best.

Thanks Tony,
What happens if I am using the digital out of the NODE via Optical AND using the analog out to my amplifier at the same time?

All the outputs on the back of the NODE are live, so you can run both the digital out and analog rca out to your amp (or even separate ones) to stream the content. The digital connections will be ones bypassing the DAC, and the Analog connection will have already been D/A converted by the NODE.
