    Hi Redmoid

Please ensure your Player is connected to the Network. Here's how www.bluesound.com/setup.
If it is connected, check and ensure your home network router has Multicast enabled.

The Node 2i is working fine on the Network, streaming songs from my hard drive and from Spotify.  The problem is that I cannot access "Audio" under Settings.

If it is connected, check and ensure your home network router has Multicast enabled.

Please check your router to see if it is blocking network traffic by not supporting Multicast

Multicast is enabled.  The only thing not working is getting to the AUDIO menu under SETTINGS/PLAYER.

I'm still waiting for a response.  What is the reason I cannot access the AUDIO menu?

    HI Redmoid

Please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so our Support Crew may take a closer look by reviewing the system log attached to that request.

    Hi,

I've got exactly the same problem on my Powernode I bought in December. Did you get a resolution?

I believe Factory Reset fixed the problem.  Good luck.

Brian, make sure the POWERNODE is fully setup, basically make sure you have renamed the player and see if that helps.

    Hi anybody reading this.

Before I sell, what has been a piece of junk sat in my living room for two years, did you ever get a resolution to this issue?

Hi Brian, did you very try a factory reset or contact support as the OP said a factory reset fixed his issue.

After two years of trying everything again and again and again, wired connection, WiFi connection, app reinstall multiple times, PowerNode factory reset multiple times, router reset bla bla bla.........it SEEMS to be fixed.

I did the firmware upgrade this week to see if that fixed the problem and it didn't. I've now tried the factory reset and it initially worked and for the first time ever I could get into audio setting BUT Tone Controls didn't work. I restarted the app and then it couldn't find the player. I then restarted the router and tried again and then it found my player again on the app and said it was doing an update on the PowerNode. I can now get into both Audio Settings and the Tone Controls work. Wow, after two years.

The only thing I can think is that a combination of the upgrade and then a factory reset and another upgrade has fixed the problem. This doesn't make sense to me but I just don't care.

I think the issue, I'm not the only one who's seen this, is some sort of compatibility between PowerNode and router maybe? I don't know. BTW the router is a BT Smart Hub 2

    BT Hub - ah.

Try going into the hubs settings and temporarily disabling 5Ghz, whist in there turn off Smart Setup and see how it goes.

    Hi Seppi,

Thanks for the input, much appreciated. I cant believe its working to be honest after all this time.

Smart Setup was removed in a Smart Hub 2 update. I'm, at this point, going to leave 5GHz on as I rely on it for my working from home. I'm going to purchase a much better router soon and start afresh. A company has recently installed fibre in my area called BeFibre so I might jump ship from BT.
