Playback issues with windows app
AnsweredNot sure what is going on here but when I start the playback of music through the windows 10 desktop app it is now very laggy and stops / starts the music every few seconds. I then tested with the bluos app on my ipad playing the same song or album and no issues here at all,
Any idea why this could be? I usually don't have any issues with the desktop app, just noticed this today. At least it works through my ipad so will have to use that. I noticed it did the same lagging and stop / start through tidals own app on both my computer and on my phone.
I send Tidal an email to hear of they know of any issues at the moment. If any of you are using the bluos app on your windows computer can you test and let me know how it works for you. Thx.

Sounds like it was a network traffic problem. I am unsure why the Desktop would lag but the Handheld wouldn't as neither device is a processor. That all happens on the player itself.
If the problem persists, power everything connected to your network down. Reboot your router, wait 5 minutes and power everything up.
If the problem returns, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we can take a closer look at what is causing network traffic.

I just tested with another album and it seems to work fine, just funny some others I tried only worked fine through the ipad / bluos app.
