Unwanted playlists
This is a new issue since upgrading to 3.20.52 in the desktop app. Library indexing (and index rebuild) is importing "playlists" from locations other than the network and local shares. Shares have not changed. Share locations have not changed and they show the permanent directory that also hasn't changed.
I have always been able to populate the library playlists by managing a single directory on the desktop pc. The playlists originate in J.River Media Center and are exported to this single directory. I need to know how and where BluOS is importing these "playlists" Any help appreciated.

HI Alain
No changes to the indexing process have been made in BluOS for quite some versions now. but glad to hear a full Rebuild Index (from Help, Diagnostics) got it. It usually does.

No "luck" here, BluOs (win11; 3.20.5, node 2i) BluOs pigheaded keeps the .m3u files I already deleted days ago.
Since I am trying to make playlists with my French albums, indeed utf-8 but furthermore, first characterset OEM-US and Notepad++ to help me, BluOs makes a mess of my tests. The old .m3u files are kept, and files I altered are not overwritten with my changes.
I do not want to make playlists with BluOs, because the app is by far not suited for the job I have in mind (over 30 playlists of 25 albums) and I want to have an overview. Please give me the filename(s) of the caches I have to empty/delete so I can move on without unplugging hardware, rebuilding my library etc. (over 7200 songs/items; takes ages every time)
An advanced menu option to clear the cache(es) would be very nice instead.
lots of cache(s) in C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\BluOS Controller

it took BluOs 11 minutes to complete the job. In my opinion way too long to test sdeveral playlists.
thnx anyway
would be nice to have a external application to really manage the Bluesound, but hélas

I am the OP and this issue is solved. While I did a reindex and a rebuild index yesterday, that didn't change anything - dozens of unwanted playlists still appeared in the Library. BUT based on forum advice I did the following in this exact order: ReIndex, followed by ReBoot followed by a "hard reboot of the NODE2 (pulled the plug for 30 seconds) followed by a ReBuiild Index and am glad to say the only playlists listed are those in the specific directory shown in the shares. So yes, there are probably excess steps. But it worked.
Not sure if is related but I added three playlists today to the directory and did a Reindex. It took less than a minute. It had been taking about 5-7 minutes.
