Hi, when using the digital out of the NODE via COAX, is the onboard DAC bypassed?

Currently I have the above setup -> digital out via COAX going into power amplifier, therefore forcing to use the amplifier's DAC, rather than the NODE's?

Meaning, the upgraded DAC in the NODE X will have no benefit if connecting to Amplifier via digital out COAX or Optical?

Instead, Analog out to amplifier would use the NODE's onboard DAC?

  Like all NODE models or generations, when using digital out, you at bypassing the on board DAC.

  You will only benefit from the ESS Sabre DAC of the NODE X by using the analogue outs.
