BlueSound Node DAC

Now that the Blue Sound Node X has an ESS Sabre DAC, can anyone tell me the manufacturer of the DAC in the NODE that replaced the 2i?  I’m a new user and a bit concerned I bought just a few weeks too early.

  Does the N130 have a setting for shutting off the clocking if using an external dac?

  No it doesn't. When connected to an external DAC the DAC in the N130 is not in use.
  Using usb out to an external DDC ( digital to digital converter) the DDC will be the Master and the N130 slave.
