Suddenly issues connecting my NAS. A solution.

Hello,

I think I should inform you about this, if your Node2 has difficulties to recognise your shared files on your synology NAS. Suddenly my Node2 (2017) had this issues, I suppose because of an bluesound or synology update. My synology NAS is DS216J.

Synology DSM mobile (Desktop modus): The solution was setting the MAX. SMB protocol on SMB3 (it shows then SMB1,SMB2,SMB2 and Large MTU, SMB3) of the SMB service. That's it.

  Hi Lieby

  No changes were made to your NODE 2 firmware regarding File Sharing since October of 2020 when we retired Server Message blocking older than SMB2.1. It may be an update to your DiskStation that caused the issue. Thanks for the tip.
