Qobuz being slow… firstly try changing the DNS settings on your Router to Google’s and see if that helps, otherwise after using Qobuz and it’s behaving slowly then using the BluOS App select Help…Send Support Request. This will send the logs to the Bluesound support crew for investigation.

For your own music library artwork, I personally use an application called Bliss, it works on many platforms and have quite literally been a time saver for me. It lets you strip out embedded artwork, resize existing and the ability to add artwork when it’s missing or incorrect as well as sorting out automatically tags etc. You may want to take a test trial with the 100 free fixes but always recommend using a copy of your library as Bliss is very powerful.

Dns is not the issue I don’t use my isp dns servers I use a paid service and all other apps including Roon have no issues with Qobuz. It’s annoyingly slow to initially load after that its ok, until you come back to the app later and it has to do it all again. I have already seen a thread about this with many people experiencing the same with no fix or admittance it’s an issues Bluesounds side which it clearly seems to be

As I said I don’t want to alter my library for one device where it works for everything else fine. I want the best quality artwork. There must be a better work around as not one other app has this limitation. I used bliss many years ago when I used LMS it caused chaos so even after I tested it. I now avoid these bulk taggers and only use mp3tag and alter one album at a time as it just works and is safer. That aside I should not have to alter my collection, given it’s supposed to sort this reading what it’s says about the artwork optimisation but it clearly doesn’t do what it says on the tin.
