Can't find player Node2i Android
Sorry, I know there are other posts regarding this issue.
Seems every 3rd or 4th time I go to use the Node, my phone can't find player. This is remedied easily enough by powering the Node off/on, but maybe there's something I'm missing? or a setting that can be tweaked. The Node still operates and can play the 5 presets, but it needs to be powered down before it will again recognize the player connection. I wouldn't care if there was an on/off switch - I would be shutting it off after each use along with the rest of my gear. Just wondering about this one small issue.
Make no mistake, I've had this thing for about a month and love it. Love the radio stations for discovery, love the sound, and ease of use. I had a streamer that cost double the money that was terrible compared to the Node 2i. It's so cool in many ways.

Hi Joe, the issue mentioned in other threads is about the current NODE and not the older 2i.
As the presets are still working and assume play music then this means your 2i is working and connected to your Router but you say your phone cannot discover it.
As a first step power cycle your router and then when it’s back up and running reboot your Node. If you know your way around your Routers configuration pages then reserving IP addresses for your Node and any controller device (like your phone) might actually help the issue you are having.
