Connecting blusound Node 2 to preamp

I have followed instructions for this from the product booklet, blusound help, youtube, all on Wifi failing to connect.  Can get music from phone and computer but want it on my main system which is wired except for trying to  use this wirelessly.

The node shows up in my settings and I can choose my Android phone or my system, but no luck.  Ditto wife's Iphone.  Rest of system works for Lp, Cd, etc.  Node RCA out to preamp, per manual.

When I was using win10, I could sometimes get this to work, but the app seemed more interested in wireless speakers.  Now with Win 11, nothing.

Tried help from seller Crutchfield when I first got this, but they were not helpful.

  Suddenly started to work.  Takes a while to sync, i guess. So....will see what happens the next tine I try to use it.
