Can the Bluesound Powernode Edge be used with a condenser microphone without a mixer or preamp?

I am planning to record youtube videos on my desktop and use a professional condenser microphone for the same. I am thinking to buy the powernode edge for my desktop music system and was wondering whether I can use this for voice recording as well.

  No Bluesound hardware has a microphone input or can record voice. 
  
  

  Connect the microphone to the computer as this is the way intended.
