The issue is the additional processing by the Rotel X3 which adds a delay, guessing that your other Bluesound devices are in sync. Bluesound can’t control what the external amplifier is doing but you may find that turning off any additional processing may help.

I gather there is an Audio Mode on the X3 which should be set to direct bypass. Please try this mode and see f that helps.

I did not have this problem when I wasn't using the external Denafrips DAC. I used the Node internal DAC and the X3 DAC with no issues. As soon as I switch to the Denafrips DAC, i have a huge audio delay problem. The X3 is already set to direct bypass.

Ok… it’s normally the amp that adds a delay but you already knew it was the Denafrips causing the issue. Perhaps speak to them about any delay added during the D to A conversion it’s possible the FIFO reclocking buffer is responsible.

It's definitely when I use the Denafrips DAC that I start hearing audio delay with my other Bluesound speakers.
