BluOS Loses Network Connection With Player After Session Idle Overnight
AnsweredAfter a normal streaming music listening session, have to unplug and re-plug the player before BlueOS recognizes there is a player on the network if the player is idle overnight. BluOS doesn't recognize the is any player at all!. As soon as you unplug and re-plug the power cord, BluOS finds the player again and it operates normally. Very frustrating to have to go through this procedure to get the player to get BluOS to Wake-Up and recognize there is a player on the network. My player is connected via a wired connection. This started happening about several months ago. Was fine before that. Also, assigned the player a static IP address in the router. Didn't make a difference...

Keith there is a long thread on this on the General forum. You are not alone, Bluesound have acknowledged a firmware bug and we're all awaiting a fix.

Woke up this morning and both devices (Node and Node 2i) no longer recognizes the wifi network. I've done factory reset, deleted the BluOs app, and nada! I have been experiencing the same issue the past few months where I'm having to unplug-plug the unit to get recognized - not today.
How can we get help regarding this? I've enjoyed the 2i for 4 years hence buying the 2nd unit (NODE). Hope these units are not bricked.
Thanks in advance.
