Is a real Apple Music integration yet to come?

It’s become a deal breaker. I’ve stopped buying new BluOS hardware. Considering a switch back to Sonos.

I'm starting the search for an audiophile grade alternative to BluOS - is there a consensus? Anyone compared the digital outs (for use with an external DAC) of the Eversolo or Hifi Rose options?

Control4 now supports Apple Music natively, using the Apple Music API - it is however, not lossless, but still its a good integration for multi-zone music streaming of Apple Music, albeit you must have a Control4 system, and you must have one of their CORE controllers to be able to perform the Apple Music DRM decoding that is required for the streaming to operate.
I assume if Bluesound/BluOS is to be able to support Apple Music natively, they will need hardware which is supported by the software (Apple DRM) in order to make use of the existing API's (lossy music streaming), and if you are after a "Audiophile" grade experience with Apple Music natively you will need to look elsewhere.

I own a soundbar, 2 Nodes and 2 Powernodes. One of them is breaking up ( the second one in 7 years). Next to the fact that it says something about the quality of the product, I really think that the lack of support for apple music is keeping me from replacing this Powernode. I am really considering an alternative to bluesound, so I think it is really up to bluesound to give us a timeline when Apple Music will be supported. Please give me a timeline, because the alternative music streamers are just inferior to the apple Music, especially if you combine it with their other online product. So bluesound, what is the timeline?

Add me to the list of people looking for native Apple Music integration with BluOS. Now that Apple Music has hi res lossless, it’s a good candidate for BluOS devices.
Side-note, I saw a comment that Apple Music lossless (16-bit) can be used via AirPlay from a MacBook. Does anyone know if this is possible from the Apple Music app on Windows 11?
