Is a real Apple Music integration yet to come?

Hey guys, I’m using BluOS via an NAD C388 with the 2i MDC and enjoy it very much (though, over the last years, some firmware versions tend to be more stable than others when it comes to hour long playback). The integration of all my music apps and libraries on the server works superb, but I mainly use my iPhone or iPad to control the playback via Tidal Connect (much more intuitive compared to the BluOS app when it comes to accessing the album’s titles by just tapping the current title, and the same for the artist). I am recently trying Apple Classical but it seems that the only way of getting the audio lossless to the stereo is just supported for Mac computers. Is there any attempt to integrate Apple Music and Classical into the BluOS app to directly stream via the 2i controller? Because right now, all I could do is use Airplay 2, which might be nice for my small speakers in the kitchen or pair all playback sources in different rooms when having a party. But compared to Tidal’s Master playback quality, it really lacks all the little details that makes me listen to my big stereo completely in awe. The goosebumps effect is just not building up.   I must say this “we are continuing to work with Apple Music on integration” is getting rather lame. I have a Node 2i and when I bought it Apple Music integration was top of mind. Now many years later, my TVs (three different brands) all have Apple Music. My XBox has Apple Music.  My DAP has Apple Music, and that company didn’t exist when BlueSound introduced the first Node.

  in the meantime BlueSound has continued to evolve their suite of products. All excellent, but all lacking Apple Music.  
  
  

  in that time new brands such as Eversolo and HiFi Rose have appeared and have launched products with Apple Music integration 

  It surely cannot be technical. It must be a license fee that BlueSound doesn’t want to incur.

  I’ll give it until end of 2024 for BlueSound to support Apple Music. If they don’t, I’ll say goodbye forever as it doesn’t like it’s a brand worth considering.

  I think that in this day and age, looking at the competition and how important streaming services are to brands such as this one it is fullish not to bring Apple Music as native. I might agree with Adrian on this one and give Bluesound until the end of the year, otherwise I’ll move into more flexible and accommodating product/company. It is unfortunate but true.

  It’s become a deal breaker. I’ve stopped buying new BluOS hardware. Considering a switch back to Sonos.
