Lack of clear solution from Bluesound to the Soft touch material issue.
AnsweredHave been reading here on the sticky soft touch material issue here since i have this issue on 2 black pulse flex's and 2 white power nodes.
Similar to all other listed cases here, the soft touch rubber on the casing of these devices unfortunately has also gone sticking which is rather annoying, looks bad and shouldn't be expected with a high quality brand. I've read a couple of treats on this issue but none of them provides a clear and sustainable solution, it is all vague.
@Bluesound team, would appreciate openness and a pragmatic solution to this issue from your end instead of stating that the soft touch material on new generation units has been improved or, Polytrol may have worked with other customers that had other similar cases. This doesn't fix my issue and makes me/people start loosing faith in the brand.
Tnx in advance.

We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the stickiness of your older Bluesound devices. This is unfortunately a common issue with rubberized materials and we have also experienced similar problems with other non-Bluesound products.
While we do not typically recommend third-party products, we have seen great results with an electronics safe degreaser that is residue-free. We believe this may help remove the sticky residue from your player. Additionally, we have also heard positive feedback regarding the use of Polytrol here in this community thread - https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/8494262325527/comments/8503586349975
We are pleased to inform you that this issue has been addressed in our new product lineup, and we are confident that our current offerings will meet your expectations in terms of quality and durability.
Lastly, to ensure that you receive the best possible assistance, we recommend that you reach out to your local Bluesound dealer.
