USB output with Subwoofer?

In another topic I read:

”When USB DAC is selected, all other outputs (Analog and Digital) are dormant.”

Will the subwoofer output still work?

  Not able to control the volume of the sub when fixed volume output, so no.

  Thx, that is not what I meant. My sub has volume control. 
  
  My question is: does the sub get a signal with USB output in use?

  All audio outputs will be disabled.
  My sub also have volume control, but using both hands and two remotes is not very intuitive to control the volume. Sub volume/level is a one time setup, after that it's controlled by the preamp.
