Fallout in sound when turning on powernode after idle

Hello!

Im using a Bluesound Powernode N330 in a stereo setup. Its connected to my Samsung TV using HDMI (eARC) and to two ground floor speakers and a subwoofer.

When turning on the Powernode after it has been idle for some time, either through the TV or connecting with spotify, the following keeps on happening: The sound turns on for a few seconds, then the sound disappears, but the bass continues for 3-4 seconds, then the sound returns for 5-10 seconds, and it disappears again for some seconds while the bass continues, then the sound returns and will keep on playing till the powernode is turned off (for at least, say 15 minutes). The pattern then repeats. 

I have updated the Powernode, ive checked that the subwoofer and speakers are properly connected, searched for various solutions, and im not able to come any closer to a solution (or explanation).

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting this peculiar issue?
