Contributing Artist View

My compilations are tagged with "various artist" in the ALBUMARTIST, and its so annoying that contributing artists (ARTIST tag) from compilation album are not shown in the main "artist view".

Any chance you will add this feature?

  If contributing artist would show in "Artists", and you have a "large" library, that would be annoying.
  
  Use "Album", or better, use the "Search" field.

  Well I have quite a collection of "one hit wonders", and the search field is not up for the task if you can't remember the name or the song artist, scrolling through "Contributing Artists" most of the time helps me remembering :-)

   

  It don't see any issues with adding the "contributing artist" view as a secondary view or as a feature you can toggle on/off.

  You mean you are using the non ID3 standard "Contributing Artist", and want BluOS software to index that field?

  No, I'm using ALBUMARTIST (Various Artist) and ARTIST (Artist name)

  If you are familiar with Sonos, then you can see what I mean, they already have the CONTRIBUTING ARTIST view as an option.

  Ok, I see.
  Sonos has a limit of max 65' tracks, so that would probably work "ok".
  BluOS don't have that limit, and as I wrote, a "large" library displaying all artist...in my case over 30k would be a rather limited experience.
